Two traffic accidents (serious accidents) stipulated in Article 2 of the Automobile Accident Reporting Rule of Heisei 28 have occurred.

Safety activities implementation status

Plan for transport safety

We have created and implemented plans to ensure transport safety.

Implementation status in FY 2017
  • We set safety special strengthening period twice a year in July and December, and strengthened our safety efforts with the goal of "collision accidents, falling accidents, drinking alcohol residues zero".
  • The Senko Group held risk assessment study seminars at two locations nationwide to promote advance safety activities.
  • Five operation management training was held (June, October), and 49 people participated.
  • We held four meetings (June, July, September, October) and three times (May, November, Three times) of group training sessions for dedicated full-service safety quality and environmental personnel.
  • Our training facility We hold a safety driving training (short-term training, basic training, professional driver training, trailer training) throughout the year utilizing Crefeel Koto. In addition, we held district training throughout the year, which is mainly responsible for safety quality environment at each branch, safe driving trainer. In particular, we educated "eradication of rear-end collision accident at traffic jam" as a priority item.

Actual amount of transportation safety budget etc.

We implement it based on safety activity plan. The main ones are as follows.

  • Implementation of safety investment (introduction of new digital takers etc.)
  • Implementation of driving aptitude test (general diagnosis etc)
  • Conduct various safety related meetings (safety and health committee, safety conference etc)
  • Implementation of health checkup (regular medical examination etc)
  • Continuous accident-free accident award (individual safety awards etc.)
  • Personnel expenses in charge of safety etc. (responsible for safety quality, nursing profession etc)

Together, these totaled 732 million yen.

Educational plan concerning transport safety

Education and training plan concerning transport safety

We are carrying out training of drivers and operators focusing on habitualization of behavior by experiential learning at our educational facility "Crefeel Koto".
413 people participate in driver training at Crefeel Koto. In addition, "District Training" was instructed by a safe driving trainer, and 1,713 participants took part.

Internal audit and safety performance evaluation result and measures

Internal audit on safety of transportation and safety performance evaluation

We implement it based on safety activity plan. The main ones are as follows.

  • We conduct internal audits on the safety of transportation for management.
  • In July and August of 2016, safety performance evaluation was carried out at the vehicle offices of the Senko Group and warehouse and premises business establishments.
    This is a measure of true safety ability, improvement and improvement of further safety level.
  • The development of the strong point (the wonderful place in the work of the establishment) and the remediation of improvement items are developed in the year of FY2016 activity.
  • At each branch office, the safety and health committee confirms the progress of improvement plans under the standards.
  • In the transportation safety management, we will extract risks related to traffic accidents and occupational accidents, and will continue to strengthen our activities to reduce risks using risk management.
