SENKO Co., Ltd. (Head office: Kita-ku, Osaka; President: Kenji Sugimoto; "SENKO") acquired all stocks of Nagasaki Unsou Co., Ltd. (Head office: Nagasaki City, Nagasaki Prefecture; President: Takehiko Kawachi; "Nagasaki Unsou"), incorporating the company into SENKO on July 31, 2023.
Nagasaki Unsou is a comprehensive logistics company providing a one-stop solution for logistics-related services such as cargo loading, transportation, construction, and storage, primarily throughout Nagasaki Prefecture. The company also specializes in transportation and installation work of heavy loads, disassembly work and maintenance of wind power generation facilities, and piping work of water processing manufacturers, and has long been contracted by major local companies for on-site transportation and loading work, making it one of the best known companies trusted by customers in Nagasaki. With the company's roots in the transportation of fresh seafood, Nagasaki Unsou arranges truck transportation of seafood landed at Nagasaki Fish Market to the Chubu, Kansai and Chugoku regions, and also covers cargo loading work at the port.
By making Nagasaki Unsou a subsidiary, SENKO aims to expand business further, together with SENKO Group subsidiaries such as Senko A Line Amano Co., Ltd. (Head office: Edogawa-ku, Tokyo; President: Tatsumi Fujii) specializing in transportation of heavy cargo and Senko Plantec Co., Ltd. (Head office: Nobeoka City, Miyazaki Prefecture; President: Asahiro Hayaishi) specializing in construction work.
The SENKO Group aims to boost operations of its domestic transportation network in the Nagasaki area, and Nagasaki Unsou will be able to harness the many resources and know-how that the SENKO Group has available, to further develop its own business.
